Entry qualification

High school / secondary education (or higher) Applicants interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree at Vilnius Business College must have completed their secondary or high school education. Required Subjects: Mathematics English (Applicants must have achieved a score of at least 60% in these subjects on their most recent school certificate) Additional Requirements: Applicants from the following countries are required to complete one year of post-secondary education before applying: Nigeria South Africa Ghana Sierra Leone Togo Mali For citizens of Uzbekistan: Either one year of post-secondary education is required, or you must pass an additional exam administered by Vilnius Business College. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. The entry qualification documents must be submitted in English. In cases where your school does not provide transcripts in these languages, you must provide official translations along with verified copies of the original documents. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. You are required to bring the original entry qualification documents with you when you arrive at Vilnius Business College.

Overview

In today’s increasingly digital world, programming is swiftly becoming a lingua franca spoken by people regardless of occupation. Self-driving cars, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, social media, robotic surgery, global logistics, and video games. What these topics have in common is the fact of their running on code and being fully reliant on IT. Unsurprisingly, this means that programming and IT proficiency is often a huge competitive advantage on the job market. This all leads to programming being one of the most popular choices in Lithuanian universities for international students.

Our guiding light in developing this programme was the aim of fostering all-rounded professionals capable of quickly picking up new skills and taking whatever the job market throws at them in stride. After 3 years of study and practice, our students are able to develop and manage a wide variety of web systems and applications, install different hardware and software, plan and implement IT business strategies, and last but not least – adapt to emerging technologies and the volatile business environment.
